We invite the little ones to be biologists for an hour, helping real biologists to detect (fictional) Little tern nests on the beach and participate in counting and measuring it. We will also explain what are the main threats to this species and what people can do to help protect them. This activity is part of the LIFE Ilhas Barreira project, approved in September 2019.
This activity is facilitated by Vera Marques.
Children must be accompanied by their parents. Bring hat, water, sunscreen and comfortable clothes and shoes for walking on the sand.
Meeting point is near the restaurant Raposo.
