Fábrica da Pólvora's Nature - Canceled

The former Fábrica da Pólvora (gunpowder factory) in Vale de Milhaços became part of Ecomuseu Municipal do Seixal in 2001 and, in 2012, it was classified as a public interest monument. In 2019, Projecto Brama started a colaboration with the Ecomuseu's team to coordinate activities for the public and promote the area's Biodiversity , which is, gradually, being reconquered by nature. This is the first time that an inventory of Fábrica da Pólvora's fauna and flora is done, also taking note of how plants and animals are getting back to this area. Here we share some of the results with you.
