Let's preserve the stag-beetle?

Lecture regarding the VACALOURA.pt Project, one that promotes active citizenship for the conservation of the stag-beetle, the largest beetle of our fauna and a symbol of the native forest. The project promotes citizen science as a mechanism for collecting information on the distribution and populations status not only of this beetle but also of others that have the same ecological function, dead wood decomposition. We also promote environmental awareness in favor of these species and their habitats, creating mechanisms to improve their populations in their habitats.
