What do you do when you see a globally important population of loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta) being decimated by illegal hunting with their imminent extinction predicted? When no one is interested and you don’t know anything about turtle conservation? You start an NGO and try to save them of course!
Follow wildlife filmmaker Jacquie Cozens' adventure, from the adrenaline filled early years of a few volunteers chasing hunters at night on the beaches to the ultimate success and growth of the project. Discover how, against all the odds, this species was saved on Sal, Cabo Verde.
Activity facilitated by Jacquie Cozens.
