The unknown wolf!

The unknown wolf!

The wolf is a species whose worldwide distribution area has been greatly reduced. Myths associated with this predator, created the idea that it was undesirable, and it would be better to exterminate it. The damage done to domestic animals has also contributed to this widespread hatred. However, in areas where natural prey abounds, the damage caused by the wolf in cattle is almost nonexistent.
This social animal, which lives in family groups, occurs in the north and center of the country, occupying about 20% of its original distribution area, with about 300 individuals.
The wolf will only survive if we provide it with adequate shelters and natural food (roe deer, deer, and wild boar), and we accept that it causes some casualties in the flocks, with the shepherds being paid with compensation, in the case of proven wolf attacks. Actions that promote the natural recovery of deer populations are fundamental for the survival of the last great predator of our country. It is also important to disclose the true wolf, an animal that, like all wildlife, has the right to exist in its natural state.
