After a Roman and Arab occupation, it was here, in Sagres, where the famous Infante D. Henrique built his village, sheltered in the walls of a fortress, organizing the first trips of the Portuguese Discoveries abroad.
But Sagres has a much older history! In this field-trip we will read the geological landscapes, discover fossils on the beach, observe Nature and meet the people of this land, that is made of sea.
