Do you want to discover Sagres village, its long history and its natural surroundings?Did you know that Sagres means sacred?Did you know that the name Sagres was invented by the ancient Greeks?
After a Roman and Arab occupation, it was here, in Sagres, where the famous Infante D. Henrique built his village, sheltered in the walls of a fortress, organizing the first trips of the Portuguese Discoveries abroad.
But Sagres has a much older history! In this field-trip we will read the geological landscapes, discover fossils on the beach, observe Nature and meet the people of this land, that is made of sea.
