This activity starts with a short theoretical session on field recordings for bird watching (15-30min), followed by a practical session (45-60min) to practice the concepts learned. Keeping a field notebook can help birders improve their birding skills, make their observations more valuable for themselves and science, and serve as a diary for later recall. This activity will highlight which data should be registered and present a new tool that helps in this task.
For this activity, you will not need any equipment. The use of binoculars is recommended but optional. It doesn't matter what level of experience you have in birding and identifying birds.
