We invite the little ones to be biologists for an hour, helping real biologists to detect (fictious) little tern nests on the beach and to count and measure the eggs. They will also explain the main threats to this species and what they can do to help save it. This activity is part of the LIFE Barrier Islands project, approved in September 2019.
This activity is facilitated by Fábia Azevedo and Vera Marques.
Children must be accompanied by their parents. Bring hat, water, sunscreen and comfortable clothes and shoes for walking on the sand.
