Mareta's Jurassic Seas
On the field trip to Praia da Mareta, the sedimentary rocks reveal secrets, such as the variations in depth of the seas millions of years ago, but also fossils such as corals and ammonites, fossil marks such as Zoophycos. We will be taken back to the Jurassic, when the Iberian Peninsula was at a tropical latitude revealed by the sequence of rocks from the Middle Jurassic.
