Sagres is nowadays known to be one of the few places in continental Europe where some pelagic seabird species may be observed. It is possible to watch in close proximity and photograph some of the rarest species. Chum may be used to increase the success of the activity. We highlight the presence of Great, Sooty, and Manx shearwaters, Wilson’s storm petrel, Long-tailed skua or Audouin’s gull, among others that fly over more frequently. This activity will take place on a RIB boat with a biologist on board.
