The Birds of the Shepherds Protocol
The “Birds of the Shepherds” Project focuses on the breeding birds that depend on traditional pasturelands in the municipality of Vila do Bispo. To underpin future conservation efforts, it is essential to accurately assess the current situation of these birds and the challenges they face due to the decline of traditional agro-pastoral activities in the municipality. A few minutes before the project presentation, the mutual cooperation protocol between ICNF and the Birds of the Shepherds project will be signed, with the presence of the Regional Director for Nature Conservation and Forest of the Algarve.
