Sagres is nowadays known to be one of the few places in continental Europe where some pelagic seabird species may be observed. After navigating south, the boat will stop and chum may be used. It is possible to watch in close proximity and photograph some of the rarest species. Depending on the season, we highlight the presence of Wilson’s storm petrel, Manx, Balearic and Great shearwaters, Long-tailed skua or Audouin’s gull, among others that fly over more frequently. This activity will take place on a RIB boat with a biologist on board.
