New in 2026: Scientific conference "Nature revealed"

Scientific research reveals fascinating aspects of the natural world and what we can do to protect it — and has therefore featured regularly at the Festival over the years.

To further integrate this theme into the programme, this year we have a new proposal: a conference dedicated to recent findings and discoveries in the field of nature conservation. In three short presentations, researchers and experts will share work that helps us better understand the natural world around us — from birds to other groups and ecosystems. At the end, there will also be time for questions and a discussion with the speakers.

Make the most of this opportunity to learn about current scientific results, different areas of research and some of the latest developments in the study and conservation of Nature.
