Tagis - Centro de Conservação das Borboletas de Portugal

Tagis is a non-profit association created in 2004 dedicated to the study and conservation of the diversity of butterflies and their natural habitats. It has the status of Non-Governmental Environment Organization and public utility, being part of the international organization Butterfly Conservation Europe. Its core activity combines studies of survey and monitoring butterfly and other insects communities, with environmental education and science outreach activities.
