Fábia Azevedo

Fábia Azevedo is a naturalist with a degree in Biology from the University of Aveiro. She has devoted nearly two decades to nature conservation and wildlife rehabilitation, having coordinated the RIAS – Wildlife Rehabilitation and Research Centre in Olhão for 15 years. She is also actively involved in environmental NGOs, volunteering with SPEA on several projects, serving as former Chair of the Board of ALDEIA Association, and being a founding member of Vita Nativa – Environmental Conservation.

Alongside her professional career, she has nurtured a lifelong passion for arts and crafts. She works with a variety of techniques, giving preference to recycled materials and natural elements collected in the field, creating pieces that reflect her close connection with and appreciation of the natural world.
