Catarina França Illustrations

Catarina França is a graphic designer and freelance illustrator.

She provides training in children's illustration, scientific illustration and drawing.

She has published more than a dozen books.

She obtained an M.A. in Drawing in 2014 and graduated in Communication Design in 1998 from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon.

Her additional training includes the Children's Book Illustration Course with Otávia Mónaco and Stevan Junaković in Sármede, Italy; the Children's Book Illustration Course at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design; and a Certificate in Scientific Illustration from the Geological Museum of the Portuguese Geological Survey (Instituto Geológico e Mineiro), Lisbon, Portugal.

She is always travelling, whether through drawing, books or new places that inspire her future projects.
